Chick Magnet

This chick will make sure that you never again forget an important appointment!

For this project you will need:

- dark yellow, orange and black construction paper or cardstock (you can also use structured paper for added effect)
- dark yellow feathers
- hole puncher for creating eyes
- craft glue
- self-sticking magnet

Craft Pattern: Chick Template

Instructions:

1. Print out the pattern and transfer the markings onto the appropriate colored paper. Cut out the motifs and glue the feet and beak to the chick body. Punch out 2 black eyes and glue these over the beak.

2. Glue the feathers to the top and sides of the chick on the backside of the chick. The markings on the pattern show you the position.

3. Adhere the magnet to the backside of the chick.

This little guy is easy enough for school aged kids to craft.
