Baby Carriage Card for Girl or Boy
The birth of a baby is always a happy moment! You can create this birth of a baby card with minimal materials to tell your friends and family members the good news or as a card to give to the happy parents.The sentiment says “Willkommen im Leben” which is German for “Welcome to Life”. Below you will also find the boy version of this card.

For this project you will need:
- 1 blank white card with matching envelope (10x15 cm or 4x6” card size)
- pink (or blue) and white cardstock
- scallop border punch
- clear stamping set with a baby carriage and other various baby motifs such as these in the image
- black pigment stamp pad
- clear embossing powder
- water color pencils
- water brush or small paint brush and cup of water
- clear stamp or rubber stamp with sentiment
- 3-D foam tape
- stick glue |

Instructions:
1. Create a pink scallop border for both the top and bottom of the card that measures 1.5 cm in width. Adhere the borders to the card.
2. Cut a strip of pink card that measures 2 cm and adhere it to the center of the card.
3. Stamp the images you wish to use and clear emboss them. Also stamp a sentiment on white card and cut it out.
4. Use water color pencils to color the images. Then take the water brush and blend in the colors for a soft effect.
5. Once the stamped images are dry, cut them out with a very small border. Set the images aside for a moment.
6. Cut a white 4.5 cm and a pink 5 cm square out and glue the white square centered on the pink square. Then stick the square to the center of the card.
7. Place 3-D pads on the backsides of the stamped images. Then adhere the carriage to the center square and the other stamped images randomly around the card.

You can also change the colors of the card for the arrival of a baby boy, too.
