3D Christmas Card with Old Fashioned Delivery Truck
Recently while on holiday in Gothenburg, Sweden I was looking through the magazines they had, hoping to find some Swedish craft magazines. That is something I always like to do when visiting foreign countries. Unfortunately I did not find any thing from Sweden, but at least some craft magazines from Great Britain. I already knew these magazines from trips to England and bought them when I was on holiday there, so I was happy to be able to purchase some in Sweden. Here in Germany where I live, it is very seldom to find any craft magazines from other countries, so I was happy with my finds.
One of the magazines I found was “Papercraft Essentials”, Issue 216 from 2022. Included with the magazine was an 8x8” instant card kit called “Christmas Markets” that caught my eye. It promised a lot of die-cut toppers, patterned papers and more. I decided to buy the magazine plus included kit and as soon as I got settled back home, I decided to make one of the cards in the magazine using the kit. I chose this one titled “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” in the magazine. I am so pleased with the result and really like the old fashioned look to it. The card and envelope sets we can get here are smaller than the 8x8” size, so my card looks a little tighter than the version shown in the magazine. Still I like it a lot.
There are lots more die-cuts in the set, so it is possible to create many lovely cards for the holidays. Here you will find another example of a card using the set that was included in the magazine.
