Instructions:

1. Fold the white cardstock in half and then on the left hand side, cover about 60% of it with black cardstock.
2. Decide how big your grey center cardstock should be (about 10 x 15 cm) and then print out the cross so that it will fit onto this piece.
3. Place the cross onto the grey cardstock and these then over the foam pad and prick the holes.
4. Cut a longer piece of thread and adhere one end to the backside of the grey cardstock. Thread the needle on the other end and then pull the thread up through the center hole of the cross. From this center point, you will then go into any of the cross holes and pull the thread to the backside again. Pull tight enough so that the thread is taught but not so tight that the cardstock starts to buckle. Come out through the middle again and then go into the hole next to the first hole. Continue in this manner until all of the holes have been stitched. Each time you will go again through the center hole. Once finished, tape the other thread end to the backside of the cardstock. (If your thread was too short while stitching, always stick the thread end to the backside of the cardstock and just start a new thread just as you did with the first.
5. Punch holes into each of the 4 corners of the grey cardstock and insert a brad into each hole.
6. Adhere the grey cardstock now onto the card using 3-D foam tape
7. Print out “With Deepest Sympathy” or sympathy message of your choice onto white cardstock. Cut out and adhere the message now onto a piece of grey cardstock. Cut out with a small border. Adhere the message now to the top of the card using 3-D foam tape.
