Christmas Cards - Winter Cards - Winter Snowmen and Penguins

The fabric “Dashing Through the Snow” from Teresa Kogut offers many wonderful motifs that can be used to create fun and easy to make cards for either Christmas or winter. This card is just an example of what you can do within a matter of minutes. Perfect for those with minimal time but yet still want to create handmade cards.

For this project you will need:
- dark blue blank card - fabric with country snowmen motifs (for example the fabric “Dashing Through the Snow” by Teresa Kogut - cream colored textured paper - fusible web - white cardstock - 3-D foam pads - tacky glue

Instructions:
1. Follow the tutorial to prepare your snowman and penguins motifs. Substitute your fabric for the napkins. Fuse the web to the backside of your motif, cut the motif roughly out and fuse onto the white cardstock and then cut it exactly out. Then it is ready to use. Paper Napkin Applique with Fusible Web 2. Apply a couple of pieces of 3-D foam tape to the backside of the snowman motif and lay aside for the moment. 3. Cut a hilly shape out of your textured cardstock and glue it to the card. 4. Pull away the protective paper backing from the 3-D foam tape and adhere the snowmen motif to your card.
