Christmas Cards - Winter Cards - Winter Snowmen and Friends

These snowmen with their winter friends look so friendly and are perfect characters for a greeting card for someone who has a winter birthday. The fabric panel used has many different and cute snowmen motifs to give you many reasons to make just more than one card.

 

 

Supplies Needed:

- Dark blue blank card
- fabric with country snowmen motifs (for
  example the fabric “Dashing Through the
  Snow” by Teresa Kogut
- cream colored textured paper
- fusible web
- white cardstock
- paper punch with snowflake motif
- 3-D foam pads
- tacky glue

 

 

 

Christmas Card - Snowmen and Friends Greeting Card for the Holidays

 

Instructions:

1. Follow the tutorial to prepare your snowman motif. Substitute your fabric for the napkins. Fuse the web to the backside of your motif, cut the motif roughly out and fuse onto the white cardstock and then cut it exactly out. 2. Apply a couple of pieces of 3-D foam tape to the backside of the snowman motif and lay aside for the moment.
3. Cut a hilly shape out of your textured cardstock and glue it to the card.
4. Punch a snowflake out and attach it to the top right corner of your card.
5. Pull away the protective paper backing from the 3-D foam tape and adhere the snowmen motif to your card.
