Christmas and Winter Craft - Paper Napkin Applique - Snowman Tree Slice Winter Decoration
Tree slices make great bases to create pictures for any season of the year. This winter chap found on a paper napkin was a perfect motif to use for this project. Add some snow paint or snow paste to the picture and you have a cute winter decoration that can remain hanging until spring arrives.
For this project you will need:
- tree slice - white acrylic paint - paper napkin with snowman motif - paper napkin applique glue - glitter dimensional paint with colors found on the napkin - snow paint / paste - iridescent glitter to sprinkle on the snow
Instructions:
1. First paint the top of the tree slice with white paint and let it dry. 2. Follow the Paper Napkin Applique Tutorial to apply the paper napkin onto the tree slice. 3. Once the paper napkin motif is dry, outline the details with dimensional paint. 4. Apply snow paint or snow paste to the snow details and sprinkle iridescent glitter onto the still wet snow for extra sparkle.
