This project is ideal for novice woodworkers. For this project you will need: - Plywood or any soft wood, 4 and 10 mm  thick - white, red, dark green, cornflower blue or   very light blue, orange and black acrylic paint - sturdy wire for hanging - drill with 2.5 mm bit - various flat and round paint brushes - wood glue   Instructions: 1. Print out the pattern page to fit the size of the paper in your printer and transfer the snowman body on the 10 mm wood and the nose, scarf and snowflake on the 4 mm wood. Paint the pieces accordingly. The hat and scarf are a mixture of red and green and painted wet in wet. That is done by painting the first color and blending in a second color for shading and highlights while the first color is still wet. 4.
