Easter Crafts - Spring Crafts - Wood Crafts - Sitting Hen
A new decoration for the spring. The hen sits perfectly on any shelf, does not require too much space and is easily made. A great project for a novice wood crafter.

Materials needed:
- Acrylic paint in white, red, orange, yellow, light brown, and black - paint brushes - thin wire - drill with small bit - wood glue - tracing paper - pencil

Instructions:
1. Print out the pattern. The size of the hen may be decreased or increased as desired. 2. The body gets then painted with white acrylic paint, his comb with red and the beak and feet with yellow. 3. Then with a toothbrush, contrast colors get speckled onto the pieces to give them some dimension. 4. Once dried, the beak and comb get glued on with wood glue. 5. On his head and on the comb, 2 small holes get drilled and then the comb gets attached to the head with 2 wires
