Instructions:
1. Attach the 1 sided self sticking foil to the back side of the silk piece, making sure that it lies flat and there are no wrinkles. The foil keeps the silk firm for painting. (A frame is therefore not needed.) 2. Using water and a paint brush, make the whole piece of silk wet. 3. Immediately dab all 3 colors onto the silk in different spots, covering all the white areas. Silk colors flow into each other. Make sure that the silk does not dry in this process. Otherwise, ugly lines will show. 4. While still wet, sprinkle some salt onto the silk. This leaves an interesting pattern while drying. 5. Let silk dry. It will curl up, but this is not a problem. 6. To the backside of the silk (this is also where the first piece of foil is), attach one sticky side of the 2 sided foil. Leave the protection paper onto the second side for the moment. The silk piece is lying flat now. 7. Cut small triangles out of the foil and attach each one on white card stock. Make sure to leave room around each piece to cut a border. 8. Cut the triangles out leaving a a 25mm border around each piece. 9. Stick a few 3-D pads on the backside of the triangle. 10. Glue a piece of green cardstock on the white card as seen on the picture. 11. Remove protective papers off of the 3-D pads and arrange the finished triangle on the card.
