1. Cut the pieces as directed in the supply list. For each light colored block you will have to shorter strips and 2 longer strips

2. Match edges and pin the shorter strips to the block on opposite sides.
|
|

|
3. Sew the strips in place.
|
|

|
4. Now pin the longer strips to the 2 other sides as seen in this picture.
|
|

|
5. Sew these also now in place and trim the seam allowance on the backsides on all sides if desired. Iron piece flat. Follow steps 1-5 again for the other 2 blocks.
|

6. Turn your block over.
|
|

|
7. Fuse a prepared leaf motif to each of the blocks.
|
|

|
8. Lay the first block on the second block with right sides facing each other. Pin together and sew the 2 blocks together.
|
|

|
9. Iron the seams flat.
|
|

|
10. Add the third block to the sesond one just like in step 8 and pin and sew together.
|
|

|
11. This is how it looks now. Add the backside to the front by pinning both pieces together with front sides facing.
Create the loops by sewing the strips together on the long edges and turning. Place both open ends together and pin these on the top edge of the wallhanging. Sew these together with the wallhanging. On one side of the wallhanging, leave an opening for turning. Turn and iron. Hand sew the open edge closed.

12. Use your sewing maching and zig-zag stitch around each leaf in a matching thread color. This adds an decorative touch to the wall hanging.
