Birthday Cards - Greeting Cards - ”Seashells”

One thinks of summer at the beach at the glimpse of this card. The thought of collecting seashells brings back childhood memories. This card makes a perfect birthday card in the summer months. The 3-D Pads give the card an extra dimension.

|
|
For this project you will need:
- blank white card with matching envelope
- blue cardstock
- white cardstock
- fusible web
- fiskars scissors with decorative edge
- paper napkin with seashell motifs
- 3-D pads
- sticker with greetings
- a piece of dark blue fiber or netting
- scissors
- glue

Instructions:
1. Cut out blue cardstock with decorative scissors about 1/2 inch smaller that the white card and glue it onto the white card.
2. Follow the basic instructions below on the fusible web. Fuse the napkin onto the white card stock and cut out the seashell shapes.
3. Place 3-D Pads on the back side of the cut out seashells.
4. Cut the dark blue fiber piece in a triangle and glue it onto the card as seen in the picture.
5. Remove backings of the 3-D pieces and then place the shells randomly onto the card. Use the picture as a guideline.
