Kids have so much fun collecting the many different leaves during fall. Why not use them to print onto paper to create leaves that will last even when the autumn months are over.
For this project you will need:
- collected leaves - tempera paint or acrlyic paint in the colors of autumn (red, brown, orange, yellow) - paint brush or sponge brush - paper to print on - scissors - raffia - small hole puncher
Ages 9 and older
Instructions:
1. To print onto the leaves, follow the . Set the prints aside to dry before continuing. 2. Once dry, cut around each print with a slight border. Punch a hole in both top and bottom of each print and tie raffia between the leaves to connect them. Add a raffia bow to the tied areas for an added touch if you like.
