Summer and all Occasion Craft for Kids - Pom-Pom Lady Bug Everyone likes lady bugs and this particular one just feels at home outdoors on the green plants. Kids can enjoy a lady bug of their own and will have lots of fun crafting this project using left over yarn and a few other basic craft supplies.

For this project you will need:
- red and black yarn - 2 wiggly eyes - craft glue - scissors - sturdy cardboard - circle templates
Recommended for ages 9 and above
Time Required: Approximately 30 minutes
Instructions:
1. Follow the instructions here “How to Make a Pom-Pom” to make the head and body of the lady bug. For the head you will only need black yarn and a 4 cm ring. For the body, you will need a 5 cm ring and both black and red yarn. Try to wrap them so that the pattern looks like stripes. This will create the lady bug spots. 2. Tie the 2 pom-poms together to create a lady bug shape. 3. Glue on the wiggly eyes.
