Halloween Craft for Kids - Pom-Pom Jack o’ Lantern
It is the bewitching hour and this Jack o’ Lantern is observing the Halloween night with its spooky eyes.
This project is completed within a half an hour and makes a cute decoration for the Halloween table or up on a shelf.
Ages 10 and older

Supplies needed:
- 1 skein of orange yarn - black felt - black cardboard (optional for creating hat) - craft glue - sturdy cardboard - scissors - circle templates

|
Instructions:
1. Create the pom-pom by following the instructions here How to Make a Pom-Pom Tutorial. 2. Cut out eyes, nose and mouth out of black felt and glue these to the face of the Jack o’ Lantern. 3. Create a hat by using either paper or felt. Glue the hat to the top of the pumpkin when finished.

1. To make the hat, print out the patterns. Form the a cone out of the half circle shape. Cut the dotted lines on the circle shape.

2. Take the stylus and score the space between the “pie” pieces.

|
3. Bend the “pie” pieces upwards.
 |
|
4. Place glue on the outside of the pieces and then place the cone shape over these. Press these pieces inside of the cone and let dry.

5. This is how the finished hat looks and is ready to use for the witch.
