Tutorial - How to Make the Patriotic Welcome Sign

1. Print your pattern out and trace onto the wood.
|
|
|
2. Saw out along the lines.
|
|
|
3. These are all of the pieces you need for this project.
|
|
|
4. Paint the pieces accordingly.
|
|
|
5. Once all of the pieces are dry, gather some blue paint on a flat paint brush and wipe away as much as you can on a piece of cardboard or paper towel until the paintbrush seems dry.

|
6. Brush the paintbrush along the edges of the stars.
|
|
|
7. This is how the stars now look.
|
|
|
8. You will also brush the white areas of the heart blue.
|
|
|
9. This is how the white stripe looks now. Clean your paintbrush now.
|
|
|
10. Now gather white on your paint brush and again wipe away any excess paint until the brush seems dry.
