Shaker Snowman Christmas Tree Ornament
We love the Cosmo Cricket “Buck Naked” chipboard ornaments. They are not only great for covering with scrapbook paper and using for all sorts of crafts and decorations, but also they make perfect sturdy templates for various projects. The snowman shape found in the package inspired this project. The cut out hole made it seem perfect for creating a shaker ornament for a tree.

Instructions:
1. Trace the snowman shape onto white cardstock. You will need one with the middle cut out and one solid snowman. Punch holes for the eyes on the shape with the hole. 2. On the backside of the center hole, place adhesive tape all along the edges. 3. Cut a piece of acetate foil to fit the inside of the snowman center hole. Remove the protective papers of the double sided adhesive and adhere the acetate foil cutout to the snowman. 4. Now add double sided foam tape completely along the hole. Make sure there are no gaps. 5. Fill in the acetate area with some iridescent flakes and glitter and then pull the protective paper off of the foam tape. Place also a couple of pieces of foam tape to the backside of the head. Adhere the backside snowman shape exactly over the first. 6. Cut a nose shape and glue it on and blush the cheeks with red pencil. 7. Tie a piece of cheker ribbon around the neck. 8. Punch a hole through both layers of the head and insert a ribbon for hanging.
