Summer Crafts and Projects

Tags for all Occasions - Orange and Natural Colored Tag

With leftover coordinating papers, you can create a similar tag. The fun part is that each tag will be unique and can be used to decorate scrapbook pages or even as gift tags for packages.

Paper Crafts - Tags - Orange and Gold Colored Tag

For this project you will need:

- Fiskars Shape Boss
- Fiskars tag template and cutting mat
- white and orange cardstock
- orange and gold paper
- 6x6 scrapbook paper “Life’s Journey” - sheet of paper with spots
- tan colored corrugated cardboard
- 3-D foam tape
- gold paper clip
- square and round gold brad
- orange acrylic faceted bead
- double sided adhesive tape
- eyelet tool and gold eyelet
- orange fibers
- hole puncher

Instructions:

1. Use your Fiskars Shape Boss and cut a large tag out of the orange cardstock.
2. Tear a sheet of the scrapbook paper and cover about half of the bottom of the tag. Leave the torn edge as is for an interesting look.
3. Tear a piece of gold paper and adhere it to the top right corner. Lay the tag aside for the moment.
4. Cut a small rectangle out of the white cardstock. First cover it with the scrapbook paper and then tear a piece of gold paper and adhere it to the left side lengthwise.
5. Punch a hole in the top corner of the rectangle and insert the square brad.
6. Insert the acrylic bead to the paper clip and fix it onto the rectangle.
7. Cut a small square out of the corrugated cardboard. Adhere a small strip of gold paper to it. Cut out a heart shape and use foam tape to adhere it to the square.
8. Adhere the square diagonally to the rectangle using foam tape for dimension.
9. Use foam tape to adhere the rectangle to the tag. Position it diagonally as seen.
10. Punch a hole in the bottom right of the tag and insert the round brad.
11. Punch a hole at the top of the tag and add the eyelet. Tie a couple of orange fibers through the hole.
