It is sometimes so amazing what you can create with only a minimal amount of material. Years ago in grade school, the art teacher demonstrated many different paper folding techniques to us. This project in particular was very easy to make with just paper, scissors and glue. It was a fast, easy and inexpensive way to decorate our classroom windows during the month of December
To make this star, only two squares of paper are necessary. Once you have chosen your paper, the next steps require folding, cutting and gluing to complete the star. Origami paper will give you excellent results for this project but you can also experiment with other types of paper as well. In fact, all paper that can be easily folded can be used for this craft. You are not limited to the size of paper, either. But if you want to make them larger to use as a room decoration, for example, use paper that has a bit more weight so the star will not be flimsy.
