friends and neighbors, the warm temperatures and the sunshine keeps
everyone's spirit up.
In the USA, the 4th of July holiday is just around the corner. If you

Independence Day Cards:
"Celebrate" Card - This card shows lots of American
spirit in the bold colors of red, white and blue! The card can be used as
an invitation to a 4th of July barbecue or picnic or as a greeting card to
give around the Independence Day holiday.
"USA" Card - Whether you would like to create this card
to give to a special veteran on Memorial Day, or to someone on the 4th of
July or for a soldier overseas, it is quick and easily crafted and perfect for
those patriotic occasions.

Seashell Crafts:
Maritime Seashell Votive Glass - Are you planning a
summer outdoor party in a maritime theme and need quick, easy and
inexpensive table decorations? One idea would be to create this votive
candle glass out of a recycled glass and a couple of collected seashells.
The look is kept natural with the soft beige tones and this craft project takes
around 15 minutes to make.
Maritime Craft - Candle Glass with Seashells - No matter
which beach you enjoy going to on summer vacation, you and your kids will
find a treasure of seashells. Once home you can keep that holiday feeling by
decoratively displaying these shells in a large glass fillded with sand and
topped off with a candle. A jute ribbon wrapped around the candle gives it the
final touch.
Miniature Seashells and Starfish Pictures - This project
combines seashell and starfish plaster of Paris castings with canvas to create
a set of small pictures to decorate any wall in your home. If you have collected
seashells at the beach, you can of course use these instead.
Seashell Picture Frame - After spending summer vacation
at the beach, you or your children probably have collected a lot of collected

ocean on holiday, then you know how hard it is to resist collecting seashells
and other objects scattered around the beach. Kids especially love to collect
these things in their buckets as souvenirs from their trip. When you get
home, you do not want to throw away these treasures but sometimes do not
know what to do with them. Why not make a wreath such as the above one to
decoratively display them. This craft is so easy and is a lovely reminder of the
trip long after the vacation is over.
Recycling Craft - Maritime Tea Light Glass - This votive costs
practically nothing to make. Recycle kitchen jars and combine them with
vegetable netting which actually resembles fishermen’?s netting to create this
quick and easy summertime table decoration for your next outdoor party or
get-together. Hot glue a few shells to give the votive the finishing touch and a
maritime look.
