Needle Felted Pig

In some countries of Europe, such as Germany, the pig is a symbol of luck. Especially on New Year’s Eve, people give each other pigs of all sorts to wish the other a good new year. This cute and soft little pig is created by needle felting and is completed within minutes.

For this project you will need:

- peach colored felting wool
- cookie cutter in the shape of a pig
- assorted sized felting needles
- foam mat to protect working surface
- larger seed beads for the eyes
- thread and needle to stitch the beads on the pig
- thin satin ribbon for a bow

Illustrated Craft Tutorial: Follow this basic Needle Felting Tutorial to create this pig. Once finished, sew on the bead eyes and glue on a ribbon bow for decorating.
