Valentine’s Day Card - “My Heart”
Express your love to your partner with a personal handmade card for Valentine’s Day or any other day! This card is created in a collage effect using different types of papers and elements. It is a great yet effective way to use up rest pieces of materials.

Supplies Needed:
- Red blank card with matching envelope - cream colored card stock - corrugated cardboard in red - mulberry paper in cream - silk fiber paper in red - stick glue - vellum with printed text in red - silver thin decorative wire - 2-sided self adhesive foam sticky tape - heart shaped eyelet - eyelet tool

Instructions:
1. Cut out a piece of the cream colored cardstock smaller than your card and glue it to the center of the card. 2. Cut a large heart out of the corrugated cardboard. 3. Take one end of the wire and stick it to the back of the heart with tape, Wrap the wire several times around the heart in a random matter. When completed, cut the other end and also stick it to the back of the heart. 4. Stick several large pieces of the foam tape to the backside of the heart and lay aside for the moment. 5. Tear pieces of the mulberry paper and the silk fiber papers out. Glue them randomly onto the card over the cream colored cardstock. 6. Remove the protective backing of the foam tape on the backside of the heart and stick the heart onto the card. 7. Print out “Love” in many rows onto vellum and tear a small piece out. Adhere it to the card by using an heart shaped eyelet.
