1. Print out the pattern to fit within the lid that was chosen for this project.
2. Place the lid centered over the pattern.
3. Use the glass cling outliner paint and trace around the stars.
4. Starting with the inside stars, connect the smallest star to the next star by drawing random lines in various directions. It will start to look like a spider web.
5. Then draw lines to connect the next two stars.
6. Once you are finished, draw lines from the outermost star to the inside edge of the bowl.
7. Let the outliner paint dry completely before you continue. When you look at the lid at this point, you have to look hard to see the star shapes.
8. Now you can start using the glass cling paints to paint your project. The easiest is to start with the innermost star. Fill it with red glass cling paint. Then fill in the sections of the next star with white glass cling paint.
9. Work your way out by filling the next star shape with blue paint.
10. Then finish the last star with red paint again.
11. The remaining sections get filled out with blue paint. Now let the paint dry 24 hours. Poke a small hole in the top of the lid and pull a string through for hanging.
