Show spirit at your next 4th of July barbecue and picnic. We can never have enough coasters! This is a patriotic and decorative way to protect your tables and so much fun to create as well. The pattern shown here is very easy to create but you can also create an American flag instead using the same colored stones.

For this project you will need:
- round thick piece of cork
- mosaic stones
- grout mixture
- mosaic glue
- sponge
- plastic gloves
- old plastic bowl and old spoon
- white acrylic paint

|
Instructions:
1. Draw a line down the center middle of the cork piece. Draw also a perpendicular line to the first also down the center middle.
2. Follow the following instructions mosaic tutorial to create this coaster. Fill in each section with the color of choice. Let the coaster dry overnight before using.
3. Paint the sides and bottom of the cork white.
