Trendy Mirror

The basic mirror for this project was found at Ikea and then decorated with purple fiber paper to make a trendy assessoire for a teen room. If purple is not your color, just change the color to make it compliment your own decor.

For this project you will need:

- plain wooden mirror with wide sides (the mirror here was bought at Ikea)
- white paint and paint brush
- purple fiber paper
- purple dimensional paint
- purple glitter
- decoupage glue

Instructions:

1. First of all, you need to base coat the mirror in white paint and let it dry.
2. Then tear pieces of purple fiber paper and glue them on to the mirror making sure to cover all of the white areas.
3. Once the paper is dry, draw sunshine or flower shapes in each corner with dimensional paint and then sprinkle glitter into the still wet paint. Shake off excess glitter and let the mirror cure 24 hours.
