Birthday Card Craft - Maritime Card with Lighthouse Motif

The sea is calling. This card has a refreshing feeling of summer on the beach and is made using maritime embellishments and paper napkin technique.

For this project you will need:
- C-6 navy blue card - white and navy blue colored cardstock - white corrugated cardstock - paper napkin with lighthouse motif - fusible web - fiber cord - silver metallic seashells and fish - paper punch with fish motif - peel-off sticker with greeting - clear 3-D paint - jewel glue - 3-D foam tape - double sided adhesive tape

Instructions:
1. Prepare your lighthouse motif according to this tutorial. Paper Napkin Appliqe Using Fusible Web Tutorial. You will need the motif twice to get the 3-D effect. The second lighthouse is adhered over the first using 3-D foam tape. Embellish the lighthouse with clear 3-D paint after you finish making the card. 2. Adhere a strip of white corrugated cardstock to the left hand side of the card. 3. Adhere the prepared motif to the top of the corrugated cardstock. 4. Punch out 3 navy blue fish and adhere them below the lighthouse using pieces of 3-D foam tape. 5. Glue a strip of fiber cording to the right hand side of the card. Glue small metallic embellishments to both sides of the cording. 6. Adhere your peel-off sticker wish to a rectangular strip of navy blue cardstock. Adhere this strip to the card using 3-D foam tape.
