Leaf Prints on Canvas

Let kids collect and press pretty shaped leaves for this project. An old telephone book works fine to press them. Place several heavy books on top of the telephone book and let it rest a couple of days. Then the kids can use the leaves along with paints in fall leaf colors to print pretty artworks for the home.

For this craft you will need:

- canvas boards
- acrylic paint or tempera paint
- pressed leaves
- newspaper for the table

Ages 7 and older
