Jeweled Christmas Tree Christmas Card
A simple Christmas tree shape gets decorated with sequins and beads to create a quick yet elegant card to give to your special recipient. The border of the inside of the card is embossed for added detail and gold stars finish off the look. This card is easy enough for kids to create, too. Imagine the look on the grandmother’s or aunt’s face when she receives a hand-made card from the child!

Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of the nature paper and adhere it over the front of the white card. 2. Cut a piece of dark green cardstock about 3/4 the size of the card. Adhere it to the center of the card. 3. Cut a piece of nature paper out slightly smaller than the green cardstock. Emboss a small border around all four edges. Adhere this paper now centered on the green cardstock. 4. Adhere a piece of green mulberry paper to white cardstock that is large enough for the tree motif. Print out the tree and trace it on the white side of the cardstock. Cut the tree out. 5 Wrap gold wire around the tree. 6. Poke about 5 or 6 holes in the tree and add the sequins and beads. This gets done by inserting your needle and thread from unerneath to the top, adding first a sequin and then a bead and then going through the sequin back through the hole. An example of how this step looks can be found here > Elegant Snowflakes Card. Carry the string through the backside to the next hole and repeat. Continue until all holes are used up. 7. Adhere the tree using 3-D foam tape to the center of the rectangle. 8. Add gold stars to the card as seen in the photos. 9. Add the greeting peel-off sticker to the top of the card.
