Birthday Cards - Greeting Cards - Invitation Cards - ”Leaves on Blue”

Maybe you have an party or get-together coming up and would like to make special invitations for the occasion. Depending on your decor, you may choose any color and style to fit your personal taste.

|
|
|
|
For this project you will need:
- ribbon- 40 mm wide
- natural paper
- dark blue cardstock
- jumbo paper punch with leaf motif
- printer or alphabet template
- 3-D Pads
- Fiskars scissors with decorative edge
- ruler
- stick glue

|
|
Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of ribbon out about 12cm long. Glue this piece onto a piece of natural paper.
2. Using the decorative scissors cut a 5mm border around the ribbon piece.
3. Punch 3 leaves out of the natural paper.
4. Using the decorative scissors cut about 2cm away from the longside of the front of the card as seen in the picture.
5. Print on the natural paper the word “invitation” or other greeting and cut out leaving 3 cm on each side. Cut then the right side with the decorative scissors to give it a nice border.
6. Glue this piece to the inside of the front of the card as seen in the picture.
7. Stick the leaves on the card using the 3-D pads.
