Christmas Crafts - Christmas Cards - “Home for Christmas”

Being home at Christmas time is always special.  This card shows the warmth of a doorway awaiting its Christmas guests. If you cannot find this exact motif, use one that is similar.

Christmas Card - Home for the Holidays Greeting Card for the Holidays

For this project you will need:

- Paper napkin with doorway motif
- fusible web
- white cardstock (for the fusible web technique)
- blank green card
- white cardstock piece measuring 12 cm x 8 cm (for the front of the card
- 3-D foam pads or 3-D foam tape
- hole puncher
- four square gold brads
- double sided adhesive tape

Instructions:

1. Follow the instructions here how to use fusible web with paper napkins. You need one background motif cut in a rectangle shape and you need smaller elements for the 3-D effect.
2. Place 3-D foam pads or tape on the smaller pieces and lay aside.
3. Place the double sided adhesive tape on the backside of the background paper napkin motif and place it centered on the 12 cm x8 cm white cardstock piece.
4. Place now double sided adhesive tape on the backside of the cardstock piece and adhere it to the green card.
5. Punch a hole in each of the corners and through the frontside of the card and insert the brads.
6. Adhere the smaller paper napkin motifs now on the background piece to give it a 3-D look.
