Instructions for preparing the hen motif:
1. Select your motif from the fabric and follow the instructions below to prepare them for the card. You will need one square containing the hen and then the hen exactly cut out. 2. Cut the square exactly out and now stick it onto the tan cardstock and cut a 3mm border around the square using the decorative edged scissors. 3. Use 3-D pads to attach the 2nd cut out hen onto the square to give the hen a dimensional look. 4. Poke evenly spaced holes through the fabric and cardstock and stitch a border around the square for a country look. 5. Cut a piece of the mesh ribbon and gather in the middle. Place the pinched center at the bottom left edge of the square and sew a button over it to hold it in place.
Instructions for the remaining card:
1. Use stick glue and glue a piece of the scrapbook paper onto the blank white card. 2. Cut out nine 1cm x 2cm pieces of tan cardstock. Either punch the word greetings out of olive green paper and glue the letters now onto the cut pieces, or use an olive green pen with alphabet stencils and print out the word greetings on the cut out pieces. 3. Place 3-D pads on the backsides of the cut out pieces and adhere them to the top of the card. 4. Place a piece of double-sided adhesive on the backside of the prepared hen motif. Adhere the piece now onto the card simultaneously sandwiching the feather on the right side of the motif.
