Valentine’s Day Card or Anniversary Card to Craft - Hearts Galore
It doesn’t matter if you are celebrating Valentine’s Day, an anniversary or just want to say “I love you”, this card will definately get your message through to your loved one.

 

 

Embossed Hearts Valentine's Day or Anniversary Card

For this project you will need:

- blank white card
- burgundy red and white cardstock
- scrapbook paper with hearts
- Cuttlebug with hearts embossing folder
- jumbo punch with country heart
- 4 burgundy red mini brads
- burgundy red ribbon
- thin white satin ribbon
- 3-D foam tape
- white artist chalk
- double sided adhesive tape

 

 

Instructions:

1. Cut a piece of the scrapbook paper that is 6 cm high and the width of your card and adhere it to the bottom half of the card.
2. Adhere a piece of white ribbon over the seam of the paper and the card and tape the ends to the inside of the card.
3. Cut a 6 cm x height of your card, burgundy red rectangle out and emboss it using your Cuttlebug and hearts embossing folder. Adhere this to the left side of the card.
4. Cut a 8 cm x 10.5 cm white rectangle out and punch a hole in each of the 4 corners and insert a brad in each hole.
5. Cut a 6 cm x 10 cm burgundy red rectangle and adhere it to the white rectangle.
6. Cut a 5 cm x 5 cm white square and emboss it with the Cuttlebug hearts folder. Adhere this to the left side of the red rectangle.
7. Punch out two hearts. Chalk the edges. Adhere one heart with stick glue and the second heart using 3-D foam tape.
8. Tie the effect yarn around the white rectangle on the right side and create a bow in the front.
9. Now you can adhere the white rectangle to the front of the card.
