1. Cut a strip of scrapbook paper measuring 18 x 3 centimeters. Using a quilters ruler for accuracy, score 1cm along the long side of the strip.

2. Now score a second line along the 2 centimeter marking.

3. Cut 1 centimeter tabs up until the scored lines on both sides of the strip.

4. Fold the tabs in. Now fold your strip in half so that it is 9 centimeters long.

5. Cut 2 hearts out that are approximately 15 centimeters wide and 15 centimeters high. The size can vary depending which heart shape you choose to use.

6. Place glue on the wrong side of the tabs and place the 2 heart inside halves on the strip. The middle folded line is the bottom tip of the heart and you may have to overlap 1 or 2 tabs at the bottom for it to lay correctly. The middle section of the strip becomes the heart’s “side wall”.

7. Punch a hole in each center top of the hearts.

8. Cut a strip that measures 2 x 18 centimeters and punch also a hole in each of the short sides.

9. Connect the strip now to the heart like a handle.
