Christmas Crafts - Christmas Cards - Happy Holidays Stars

What would be Christmas without hand made cards and gifts? There is nothing more rewarding than the feeling of creating something special for our loved ones! This card is in the traditional red color of Christmas and decorated with various elements to give it a unique look.
|

|
|
|
|
For this project you will need:
- blank red card
- red mesh ribbon measuring 13 cm x 10 cm
- Fiskars© Shape Boss with star template
- red and white fiber silk paper
- stiff felt in red
- scissors
- thin silver wire
- sequin stars in different sizes
- clear double sided self-adhesive foil
- vellum
- 3-D sticker pads
- stick glue
- jewel glue for gluing sequin stars

Instructions:
1. Tear out a piece of white fiber paper and glue it on the card using the stick glue. Use the picture for placement suggestion.
2. Using the double sided foil, cut out 2 pieces and stick them to the backside of the mesh ribbon. Remove the protective backing and adhere the mesh ribbon over the white paper.
3. Tear out a piece of the red silk fiber paper and stick it over the mesh ribbon, using the self-adhesive foil.
4. Cut out a star out of the red felt. Wrap the wire around it a few times and secure then the wire on the back with a piece of tape. Use the double sided foil to adhere the star to the card.
5. Print out “Happy Holidays” on the vellum. Cut out the text and stick it to the card also using the foil.
6. Put a drop of jewel glue on the backsides of the sequin stars and place a few on to the card where necessary.
