Instructions:
1. The first thing you need to do is to prepare your fabric motif to embellish the card. You will need two same fabric squares for each card. Choose one of the fabric squares with a larger motif, such as a bird, heart or butterfly. Use the tutorial: Creating Fabric Motifs to Use as Embellishments for Cards, Scrapbooks, Paper Crafts, etc... and create two squares with this technique. 2. The first fabric square will be cut exactly as a square. Now take this square and glue it onto a piece of off white cardstock (the same color as your card) and cut a 2.5 mm border around the square. Then glue this square then onto a piece of color cardstock that fits to your fabric. Now cut it out with a 5 mm border. 3. Now take the second fabric square you prepared. Cut out the individual motif (such as the bird) Place 3-D pads on the backside of the motif. Then adhere it onto the motif on the first fabric square. This gives it a 3-D look. The image below shows you how it looks.
4. Adhere now the completed embellishment now to the center of the card. Glue on a jute bow if you like or embellish further to your taste.
