Spring Greeting Card - “Green Greeting Card”
The color of this card resembles the fresh green grass of spring. This card combines textured cardstock with matching scrapbook paper and other card making elements to give it a fresh and unique look.

 

 

Spring Card - Cheery Green Greeting Card

For this project you will need:

- 2 sheets of green textured cardstock- 1
  sheet being folded into a card shape
- corner punch with round edge
- light green textured cardstock
- scrapbook paper with matching pattern
- alphabet motif punchers
- Fiskars Tag template
- hole puncher and 2 gold round brads
- gold eyelet
- motif puncher with flower and circle motifs
- strong 2-sided self adhesive sticky tape
- ruler
- stick glue
- scissors
- green fuzzy or fibers ribbon

 

 

Instructions:

1. Cut a sheet of the light green cardstock slightly smaller than the card. Round the edges with the corner punch and punch a hole in each corner. Use the sticky tape to stick this onto the card making sure the ends of the brads are hidden underneath.
2. Cut a strip of the dark green cardstock and glue to the left side of the card as seen in the picture.
3. Create a tag with the tag template and cut a wide strip of the scrapbook paper. Glue it onto the tag and cut excess of the edges. Cut 2 thin strips of the light green cardstock and glue on the wide strip. Punch a light green flower out and a center out of dark green cardstock. Glue the center on the flower and use 3-D foam pads to stick the flower onto the tag.
4. Punch a hole in the top of the tag and knot a piece of the fuzzy ribbon to the hole.
5. Make a rectangle shaped sign out of dark green cardstock and cut thin strips of light green cardstock and glue to each edge as seen in the picture. Punch out the letters “h” and “i” and glue these to the center of the sign.
6. Punch out a dark green flower and a light green center. Glue the center to the flower and stick it to the card with 3-D foam pads.
7. Glue the tag and the sign to the card.
