St. Patrick’s Day Card - “Good Luck”

Green is the color of St. Patrick’s Day the day and this card says it all when you want to wish someone luck.

St. Patrick's Day Card - Good Luck

For this project you will need:

- white textured card
- scraps of cardstock in 3 shades of green
- green fiber ribbon
- Sizzix Big Shot or Cuttlebug embossing machines
- Cuttlebug alphabet die “Olivia”
-
Shamrock die from the Sizzix Originals Die Set - Seasonal Collection
- decorative edged scissors
- 2 green flower brads
- 3-D foam tape
- clear drying craft glue

Instructions:

1. Die cut 3 different colored shamrocks and set aside.
2. Die cut the words “Good Luck” and also set aside for the moment.
3. Cut a piece of the ribbon that is a bit longer than the width of your card. Adhere the ends to the inside of the card using tape.
4. Trim the bottom edge using the decorative edged scissors. Cut a strip out of green cardstock and adhere to the inside of the card so that about 5-7 mm or 1/4 inch peeks out from behind the trimmed bottom edge.
4. Now adhere 2 shamrocks to the top and middle of the left side of the card using glue. Adhere the 3rd shamrock in front of these using 3-D foam tape.
5. Use glue and carefully add the words “Good Luck” to the card.
6. Punch a small hole to each top corner of the card and insert the flower brads.
