Cards for Easter - Spring Cards - “Foxwood Tales Easter Card”

This motif brings back childhood memories of reading the stories of the Foxwood animals. They make a perfect motif for warm and charming Easter cards.
|

For this project you will need:
- 1 blank white card with matching envelope - paper napkin with “Foxwood Tales” motifs by Brian Paterson - pastel yellow textured cardstock - Fiskars Shape Boss with square template (for border) - Fiskars template cutter - fusible web - paper punch with flowers - 5 faceted orange glass or acrylic beads - sewing thread - double sided sticky tape - 3-D foam tape - needle and piece of fun foam or cork (for poking holes) - scissors

Instructions:
1. Prepare your motif following the instructions of this tutorial >>> Paper Napkin Applique with Fusible Web 2. Cut the motif exactly out and place 3-D foam tape on the backside and lay aside for a moment. 3. Cut a piece of yellow textured cardstock slightly smaller than the width of your card and use the Fiskars Shape Boss Template and cutter to create an interesting border to one long side of this piece. 4. Poke holes into the 3 other sides of this piece. 5. Punch out 5 small flowers. Use your prepared Foxwood Tales Motif to determine where to place the flowers on the cardstock and adhere them slightly with stick glue. 6. Poke 1 hole through each flower and attach the beads to the flowers using a needle and thread and securing the ends on the backside of the cardstock. 7. Use double sided sticky tape to attach the cardstock piece onto the card. 8. Adhere the prepared Foxwood Tales motif on the card.
