Birthday Cards - Greeting Cards - ”Flowers”

This card with its bright pink is enough to brighten the spirits of anyone who receives it. It is an example of what you could craft. It is created using many various paper and card crafting materials. The device is to try to use what you have and arrange the pieces in a way that they coordinate in color and style.

 

 

Supplies Needed:

-
White blank card
- white corrugated cardboard
- white and dark pink cardstock
- paper napkin with coordinating colors
- white fiber paper
- hole puncher
- brass fastener
- decorative edged scissors
- motif puncher with daisy motif
- scissors
- 3-D pads
- stick or craft glue

Birthday Card - Greeting Card - Pink Flowers Birthday Greetings

 

Instructions:

1. Cut a wide strip out of the dark pink cardstock and glue it to the middle of the blank white card.
2. Out of the cardstock cut a triangle to fit the bottom left corner of the card and glue it in place.
3. Prepare your paper napkin motif according to the instructions in the link below. Cut the white cardstock out with decorative edged scissors and then glue the piece on a piece of dark pink cardstock and cut a border again out using the decorative edged scissors. Follow the pattern of the cut before for an even look.
4. Glue a piece of fiber paper over the card as seen in the picture.
5. Glue the prepared paper napkin embellishment over the corrugated cardboard.
6. Print “Happy Birthday To You” out on a piece of dark pink cardstock and use the hole puncher and a brass fastener to connect it to the card.
7. Punch 3 flowers out of the pink and white cardstock and use 3-D pads to stick them onto the card.
