1. Take your fabric and fold it so that it is in a clutch shape - each side being about 1/3 of the length.

2. Mark 3x3 cm squares on the 2 bottom corners of the clutch and cut the squares out.

3. Sew now along the side edges where the front and back of the fabric touch and along the bottom edge.

4. This is how the bottom square looks. You will need to pull the square open...

5. Place the seams together...
|
|
6. ... and sew a line about 7mm or 1/4 inch from the edge. Do the same to the second corner, too.

7. When completed, and turned inside out, the corners look like this.

|
8. Because the bottom part of the bag is sewn, the top flap is a bit wider. Trim the sides to the same width of the bag. If you like, round off the 2 corners of the top flap.

9. Add a magnet closure, a button or a snap to hold the bag closed.
