Fall Crafts

Autumn Craft - Easy Fall Wreath

A styrofoam wreath is used as the base of this wreath and is decorated with orange ribbon to make perfect for the fall season. The technique is so easy and even the kids can get involved. In this link: Halloween Wreath, you can use the same wreath here and transform it into a spooky Halloween table or wall decoration for your next Halloween party.

Fall Wreath

For this project you will need:

- styrofoam wreath in size of choice
- 4 cm wide orange ribbon
- green ribbons for creating the bow
- embossing stylus or knitting needle for poking ribbon into the
  styrofoam
- craft glue
- scissors

How to make a simple bow

Instructions:

1. Take your 4 cm wide ribbon and cut it into 4 cm long pieces (if your ribbon is wider or narrower, cut the length so that it is the same size as the width)

2. Apply a drop of glue to the middle of each square.

3. Use your embossing stylus or knitting needle to poke the center into the wreath. The glue will help hold the ribbon into the hole created by the poking. Continue adding ribbon squares until the entire front side and the sides are covered. If you discover areas that are not well covered, you can always add more squares to fill these in.

4. Once you have finished your wreath, attach a bow to the front of the wreath.
