Fall Crafts

Autumn Card Craft - Fall Leaf Invitation

This card may not be traditional fall colors but has a feeling of the season anyway because of the leaf motifs. The leaves strip is a cotton ribbon piece and helps makes crafting this card a cinch.

Birthday Card - Greeting Card - Beige and Blue Invitation Card with Leaves

For this project you will need:

- card in a dark blue color or color matching ribbon used
- bluish cotton ribbon (with no wire) with leaves or cotton ribbon of choice
- natural colored cardstock
- paper punch with leaf motif
- decorative edged scissors
- color printer
- stick glue
- 3-D pads

Instructions:

1. Cut the ribbon in a piece that is about 4 centimeters shorter than the card length.
2. Glue the ribbon piece on natural colored cardstock. Cut a border around the ribbon using decorative edged scissors. Glue this strip to card, placing it in a similar position as you see in the picture.
3. Print the word “Invitation” out on a piece of the natural colored cardstock. Cut the piece to the height of the card. On the left side of the word, cut a fancy edge using decorative edged scissors. Glue this strip now to the right edge of the card. Once the glue is dry, cut this edge also using the decorative edged scissors.
4. Punch out 3 leaves and adhere them with the 3-D pads on the area between the ribbon and the word “Invitaion”.
