Autumn Craft - Fall Greeting Card / Birthday Card

The Sizzix Originals Die - “Leaves, Holly with Berries” is not necessarily only for Christmas use. By changing to a autumn colored scrapbook paper, the leaves become lovely fall motifs such as those embellishing this card.
|
|
|
|
|
|
For this project you will need:
- two sheets of cardstock “Harvest and Holiday” from Debbie Mumm® for Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts™ -
one sheet is green with orange glitter pumpkins and one sheet is orange glitter checks
- Cuttlebug machine or Sizzix Big Shot machine for die cutting and embossing the elements used for this
card
- blank beige colored card
- Sizzix Originals Die “Leaves, Holly with Berries”
- orange colored ribbon 4 cm wide
- orange button
- orange fringe cord
- Peel-Off Sticker with greeting
- Orange sticker pen to color sticker
- orange sewing thread
- needle and soft underground such as foam mat or piece of cork
- 3-D pads
- double sided adhesive
- craft glue
- decorative edged scissors
- tape

Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of the green scrapbook cardstock with pumpkins just slightly smaller than the size of the card and adhere it to the card.
2. Now cut a piece of orange glitter cardstock to the size of 8 x 13 cm. Wrap the left side with a piece of orange ribbon and adhere the ends to the backside of the cardstock.
3. Use double sided adhesive to adhere the orange rectangle now to the front of the card.
4. Die cut 2 leaves and adhere them to the card using 3-D foam tape. Glue a button to the left of the leaves where they meet.
5. Cut a square out of beige cardstock large enough so that your greeting sticker fits on it. Color the peel-off sticker and adhere it to the square. Sew stitches around the inside edge of the square. Adhere the square to a piece of the green cardstock with pumpkins and cut out a small border using the decorative edged scissors. Adhere this square now to the card using 3-D foam tape.
6. Tie a ribbon with the fringe cord and glue this to the top right corner of the orange rectangle.
