Fabric Basket or Caddy

This basket or caddy is so perfect for holding treasures such as yarn for the next knitting or crochet project. Because of the batting, it can stand on its own. The stitched border around the rim of the bag was done on the sewing machine and gives the bag an extra something special.

For this project you will need:

- 1 fabric measuring 70 x 35 centimeters
- a second matching piece of fabric the same size
- a piece of batting also the same size
- matching sewing thread
- sewing machine (the machine used here has a lot of programs for making decorative stitched borders)
- basic sewing supplies
- trick marker (this can be used to mark the fabric and the lines dissapear within time or when moistened)
