Christmas Paper Craft - Dimensional 5-Pointed Stars Using Scrapbook Paper

Making dimensional stars is so easy. This picture shows examples of 5-pointed stars that are made quite similar to the 8-Pointed Stars. The only difference is that these stars are assymetric.

Dimensional 5-Pointed Paper Stars

For this project you will need:

- a thicker quality of scrapbook paper
- bone folder or stylus
- soft underground such as a foam mat to make creasing lines easier
- ruler
- scissors

Instructions:

1. Print out the Star Pattern in a size of choice and first glue the pattern on a piece of cardboard. Cut the star out. Now you have a stable template to trace around. Especially if you plan to make lots of these, the stable template is very helpful. Trace the star shape now onto white cardstock and cut the star out.
2. Follow the illustrated step-by-step
Eight Pointed Star Tutorial to create these stars. Pay attention to the pattern for the creasing lines. The solid lines get creased on one side of the star. Then turn the star over and then crease the dotted lines. Then form the dimensional shape.
