”Give me a kiss my darling and I will turn into a prince.” Awww, who can resist those big red lips? With just a paper maché frog and decopatch paper and glue, you can create this cute little guy which afterwards looks great outdoors as a yard decoration during the summer.
For this project you will need:
- paper mache frog figure such as the one below in size of choice - decopatch paper in the colors of green snake skin, bright green, white, red and black - decopatch glue - flat soft paint brush for applying the glue
Instructions:
1. Tear the green colors of Decopatch paper in many different sized pieces. For the frog, a ratio of 1/2 snake skin paper and 1/4 green paper was used. 2. For the larger areas you can use the larger pieces but it is recommended to use the smaller pieces around the tighter areas to prevent wrinkeling of the paper. Use white and black for the eyes and red for the lips. 3. When the entire frog is covered, let it thoroughly dry.
