Christmas Sewing and Patchwork Craft - Country Christmas Tree Ornaments

If you like a warm and country charm on your Christmas tree instead of all the glitter and shine, you can sew these simple ornaments out of your leftover Christmas fabric. These are so quickly made that you will have a tree full in no time.

For this project you will need:
- Christmas patchwork fabric - batting - gold buttons - embroidery floss for hanging - basic sewing supplies and sewing machine

|
Instructions:
1. Print out your patterns and create permanent templates for them. Permanent templates tutorials. 2. Wash and iron your fabric if necessary. Double the fabric with the right sides facing and trace your template shapes on the fabric. Sew now onto the traced lines and leave an opening for turning. 3. Cut the shape out with a 1/4 inch seam allowance, and turn. 4. Fill the shape with batting and hand sew the opening closed. 5. Sew a button onto the middle of the ornament and sew a embroidery floss loop at the top.
