A variety of corner punches are on the market. They are used to cut into corners of paper or cardstock and leave an intricate design.

Experiment with the different designs. You can use them to decorate your cards, scrapbooks, tags or your artist trading cards.

Corner Puncher 4

1. This is an example of how a corner punch can look. This particular one is calles “Paper Shapers Corner Adorner”. It has a 90° angle guide which makes it easy to get perfect looking corners.

2. To use it, insert the corner of a card or cardstock of choice into the guide. Make sure it is even and press down on the thumb button. It cuts throught the paper and leaves the design.

3. To do the other side of your card or cardstock piece, flip it over so your design will be facing the opposite direction. You can continue and do all 4 corners.

4. If you would like to make a small frame for a picture or a card, you can also cut away the inside once all 4 corners have been punched. Between each punched corner design take a cutting ruler and knife and cut the line away. This needs to be done on all 4 sides.

5. Afterwards your design could look like this. This makes an attractive frame for small pictures.
