Christmas and Winter Crafts

Christmas Craft - Cork Reindeer and Moose Tree Ornaments Made With Cookie Cutters

Around here, cookie cutters are being used more for crafting rather than for their original purpose in the kitchen. With all of the cute motifs available, they are so ideal for creating simple shaped items and are also great for the kids to trace around for crafts as well. Because of the cork texture, these reindeer and moose decorations look so natural and were therefore only embellished with burgundy ribbon to maintain the charming country look.

Cork Reindeer and Moose

For this project you will need:

- cookie cutters in the shapes of reindeer and moose
- black ball point pen for tracing onto cork and for drawing the eyes (for the eyes you can use black
  dimensional paint as an alternative)
- burgundy red ribbon
- paper twist for hanging
- hot glue gun

Instructions:

1. First of all, trace the reindeer and moose shapes onto the cork and cut them out.
2. Dot on the eyes.
3. Create tiny bows with the ribbon and hot glue them onto the figures.
4. Cut pieces of paper twist and glue them as a loop on the back side of the figures.
