This wreath is not in the typical Christmas colors but looks warm and natural in the color of copper. This lovely addition to your door is decorated within an hour and ready to hang to welcome your holiday guests. If you cannot find all of the materials listed, see if you can improvise with materials of similar color.
For this project you will need:
- 30 cm twig wreath - 6 small pinecones - thin copper colored wire (to wrap around the pinecones) - ribbon that is 2 cm wide matching your basic color sceme - 2 copper colored sisal grass stars - 6 small copper colored glass ornaments - 2 orange slices - 2 cinnamon sticks - orange or copper colored sisal grass - copper colored angels hair - hot glue gun
Instructions:
1. To decorate the wreath you first need to add sisal grass all around it. It does not need to be a heavy amount. The picture below from our sister website shows how it should approximately look.
2. Wrap each of your orange slices with a cinnamon stick and copper colored wire. Hot glue these on the wreath on opposite ends. 3. Create 2 simple bows using the instructions in this tutorial: How to make a simple bow tutorial and hot glue these next to the orange slices. 4. Hot glue now 3 ornaments opposite of each other on the wreath. 5. Now add the sisal grass stars. 6. Wrap the small pinecones with copper colored wire and add in 2 groups of 3 pinecones onto the wreath. 7. Hang the jingle bell onto the wreath. 8. Finish off by adding small amounts of copper colored angel’s hair all around the wreath.
